Syrian Chef-KSA Based
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Syrian Chef to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in preparing authentic Syrian shawarma while maintaining consistent quality in taste and presentation. Commitment to food safety standards, speed, and teamwork is essential in a fast-paced work environment.
Syrian nationality is mandatory.
Valid Saudi residency (Iqama) is mandatory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Syrian shawarma according to approved recipes and standards.
Marinate and prepare meats (chicken, beef, or lamb) using traditional Syrian methods.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, portion size, and presentation for all shawarma products.
Operate shawarma grills, knives, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Monitor cooking temperatures and meat rotation to ensure food safety and quality.
Prepare sauces, bread, and essential toppings when required.
Adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in compliance with Saudi regulations.
Control ingredient usage, minimize waste, and assist with inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and tools.
Support kitchen and service teams during peak hours and high-pressure periods.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Valid Saudi residency (Iqama) – mandatory.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Syrian Shawarma Chef or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Syrian shawarma preparation, marination, and grilling techniques.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
High attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
